How Involve Digital collects, uses, stores and shares personal information across this website and the digital marketing engagements we deliver. Operating entities in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Who we are

Involve Digital is a global digital marketing agency operating through a small group of related entities — Involve Digital Pty Ltd (Australia), Involve Digital Ltd (New Zealand and United Kingdom) and Involve Digital Inc (United States). In this policy, “Involve Digital”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to whichever of these entities you have the most relevant relationship with — typically the one that contracts with your business or that serves your region.

This policy covers personal information collected through involvedigital.com, our conversational surfaces (the strategist on this site, and the dedicated /talk page), our forms and our email correspondence. It does not cover the information you provide directly to our clients under their own privacy policies, even where we are the agency delivering work on their behalf.

What we collect, and why

Information you give us. When you contact us, fill out a form, request a growth plan, talk to the strategist, or send us a CV, you give us information such as your name, email address, phone number, company, role, country, and the commercial context of what you are trying to grow. We use that information to respond to your enquiry, to deliver the services we are engaged to deliver, and to keep records of the work for our internal operating and legal needs.

Information we collect automatically. When you use our site, we and our processors record standard server-side and client-side technical information — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited and time on each page. This helps us keep the site working, diagnose problems, and understand which pages and content are useful to visitors.

Information from our strategist. When you talk to the strategist on this site or at /talk, the conversation is processed through our AI infrastructure to give you a useful response. We retain conversation transcripts to follow up on enquiries and to improve how the strategist serves future visitors. Do not enter sensitive personal information, financial information or third-party confidential information into the strategist conversation.

Information from job applicants. If you apply for a role through /careers, we collect the information you share in that application — typically a CV, your contact details, your experience and your motivation for the role — and use it to assess your fit and to communicate with you about the application.

Why we are allowed to process it

We rely on one or more of the following lawful bases depending on the context:

  • Performance of a contract — to respond to your enquiry, to deliver services you have engaged us for, or to take steps before entering a contract.
  • Legitimate interests — to run, secure and improve our website and our business, where those interests are balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — where you have explicitly opted in, for example to receive direct marketing from us. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to understand how the site is used in aggregate, and (where applicable) to measure the performance of any paid campaigns we run that route through this site. Cookies fall into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working — session state, security, basic preference storage (for example, the audio preference for our homepage intro). These do not require your consent.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand site use in aggregate. We apply data minimisation where the tool supports it.
  • Advertising cookies may be set when you arrive via, or interact with, a paid campaign. These support measurement of campaign performance and (in some cases) re- engagement.

Your browser lets you block or delete cookies via settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers we rely on to operate the business, under contracts that bind them to comparable standards of confidentiality and security. The principal categories of processor we use are:

  • Hosting and infrastructure — Vercel hosts our website; our DNS, CDN and edge logic run on standard providers.
  • Video delivery — Mux serves the videos embedded in our case studies and conversational surfaces.
  • Conversational AI — the strategist conversation is processed through Anthropic's Claude API. Messages you send to the strategist are transmitted to that service for the purpose of generating a response.
  • Email delivery — we send transactional and operational email through Resend.
  • Analytics — we use a small number of analytics tools to understand site use in aggregate.
  • Advertising platforms — where we route paid campaigns through this site, the relevant ad platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn and similar) receive the data necessary to measure those campaigns.
  • Our clients — when our work on this site relates to an enquiry that we route through to a client (for example, certain partner referrals), we share the information necessary for that hand-off.

We may also share information where we are legally required to do so, or where necessary to investigate, prevent or take action against suspected fraud, security incidents or other prohibited activity.

We do not sell personal information.

International transfers

We operate across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, and our processors operate globally. Where we transfer personal information out of the jurisdiction it was collected in, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms — for example the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent adequacy mechanisms recognised in the relevant jurisdiction — to maintain the level of protection your information receives.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above, then we either delete it or anonymise it. The exact period depends on the type of information and the basis for processing. Enquiry and strategist-conversation records are typically retained for two to three years to support follow-up and improvement. Records relating to active or historical client engagements are retained for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by applicable law and our professional obligations. Job-applicant information is retained for the duration of the recruitment process and for a reasonable period afterwards in case comparable roles become available.

Your rights

Depending on the jurisdiction whose laws apply to you, you have some or all of the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you:

  • The right to know what we hold and to receive a copy.
  • The right to have inaccurate information corrected.
  • The right to have your information deleted, subject to our legal and contractual retention obligations.
  • The right to object to processing or request that we restrict it.
  • The right to receive your information in a structured, machine-readable format and to have it transferred to another provider.
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time where we are processing your information on the basis of consent.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically 30 days, sometimes longer for complex requests, in which case we will tell you).

How we keep information secure

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. That includes industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest where supported by the processor, access controls on internal systems, vetting of processors against security standards before engaging them, and incident-response procedures. No transmission of information over the internet is perfectly secure — if you become aware of a security issue affecting your information held by us, please tell us immediately.

Children's information

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable law. The version is identified by the “Last updated” date below. Material changes will be communicated through this page; for any change that materially affects how we handle information that you have already provided, we will take reasonable steps to notify you directly.
